Gunner FRED HOUGH, R N V R, was working the gun on S. S. “Leinster” when she was sunk on October 10th by enemy action, and was buried with naval honours at Dublin. He was at the School from January, 1909, to July, 1913, and was a promising cricketer in Gaskell House. His elder brother is a captain in the Intelligence Department.
