Private OSWALD G WORLIDGE, Middlesex Regiment, who was killed in action on March 17th, was the son of Mr and Mrs Jas. Worlidge, West Brook, Chorlton-cum-Hardy. He was at the School from September, 1905 to April, 1912, and at the outbreak of war was employed in the Chorlton branch of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Bank. He enlisted under the Derby scheme in the Bankers Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers at the beginning of last year and underwent his training at Edinburgh. On going to the front he was attached to the Middlesex Regiment. He was 22 years of age.
