Second lieutenant ALFRED M THOMPSON, who was reported missing on July 11, is now officially reported to have died of wounds on July 31. He was at School from 1897 to 1902. His younger brother is serving in the Royal Fusiliers.
Information has been received from the German Red Cross that Second Lieutenant A M THOMPSON, Lancashire Fusiliers, whose death was recorded in our last number, was taken prisoner at Roeux on July 10, 1917, with severe wounds, and died on July 31st, in the Field Lazaret at Douai, where he was buried.
